The Deschutes Estuary Restoration Team is holding its annual fundraiser with all proceeds to fund continued efforts to remove the 5th Avenue Dam in Olympia and restore Olympia’s historic estuary.

Saturday October 13th 6:00-9:00 pm.

Join us for a fun night at the Woman’s Club with dinner, desert, drinks, and a silent auction full of local goods, foods, art and more. Speakers Willie Frank III (Son of Billy Frank Jr.) and our local 22nd Legislative Rep. Beth Doglio will speak to the importance of our local ecosystems, tribes, salmon, and the estuary. Dinner provided by the Blue Heron Bakery, organic pizza and salad.

DERT has had a big year full of events and outreach, it is more important than ever to continue that effort now going into the Environmental Impact Statement process for the lake. All funds go towards community education and political advocacy to restore the Deschutes estuary!
