Science on Wheels is our Outreach Education team, currently looking for new educators who are devoted to providing access to quality science exploration for all.  As an Outreach Educator, you have the opportunity to bring the best of Pacific Science Center to schools, libraries and community events across the Pacific Northwest. Science is everywhere; so are we!

This is an education and performance focused position.  Working mostly in K-8 schools, you will spark excitement with entertaining and captivating science shows, fun and inquiry-based workshops, and interactive exhibits on all sorts of science topics! You will also be a key part of Pacific Science Center’s Access for All initiative, helping us to reach our goal of serving at least 85,000 Title 1 students this school year. Candidates that speak more than one language are strongly encouraged to apply.

Outreach Educators can plan to be traveling throughout Washington anywhere between 1 to 5 nights a week, with a maximum of 14 nights a month. Shifts are scheduled mostly during the school day, but also include several weekend and evening shifts per month. All travel expenses are covered.
