About the position

As a Manager, Renewable Development you will oversee the development of utility-scale wind and solar energy projects in Oklahoma and Texas.

 

Responsibilities

Identify development prospects, including market assessments, fatal flaw identification and initial site reconnaissance

Secure site control for development prospects, including negotiating leases, easements and other agreements with landowners.

Take a lead role in diligencing what local, state and/or federal permits may be required, and then obtaining the same

Represent Invenergy LLC with customers, landowners, state and local officials and other stakeholders.

Strategize around, initiate, and manage generation interconnection activities.

Lead strategy for project modeling, marketing, design, budgeting and scheduling.

Manage a wide variety of competing tasks according to various budget and schedule constraints, including coordinating internal and external technical support.

Coordinate landowner communication efforts.

 

Required Skills

A BS or BA from an accredited college program.

Strong prioritization, organizational, networking, leadership, time management, and interpersonal skills.

Strong communication, public speaking and personal skills.

Ability to write effective, concise reports.

Ability and confidence to identify questions which affecting material assumptions.

Familiarity with and a passion for energy project development, real estate development, transmission and power project engineering are advantageous.

A desire to work in a fast-paced environment.
