I’m pleased to announce an upcoming campus visit by Negar Farajiani, a visual artist and curator who currently lives and works in Tehran, Iran. Farajiani will give an artist talk at the COM Recital Hall on Monday, February 04, from 1-3pm. The event is free and open to the entire TESC community. Please RSVP to me (katsaniv@evergreen.edu) if you plan on attending with your program.

A flyer is attached. Your support in publicity would be much appreciated.

About the artist:

Farajiani works across a range of media from photography, video, to installation, and is one of the few artists in Iran to create interactive, public artworks such as “Tehran Monoxide” and “Made in China.” Her work plays with the concept of space and focuses on participatory action regarding social and environmental problems. She has presented widely across the UK, the US, Germany, Poland, Iran, and UAE, and has an outstanding international record of solo and group exhibitions.
