Company Description:

Augsburg University offers more than 50 undergraduate majors and nine graduate degrees to more than 3,500 students of diverse backgrounds. It is an urban University campus defined by excellence in the liberal arts and professional studies. Augsburg education is its emphasis on direct, personal experience. Guided by the faith and values of the Lutheran church, Augsburg educates students to be informed citizens, thoughtful stewards, critical thinkers, and responsible leaders.

The Strommen Center for Meaningful Work engages the entire community in promoting working with purpose by providing leadership on employer needs, labor market trends, and industry developments; facilitating relationships between employers and the campus community; and providing career education and planning services that will empower students to make effective major and career choices.

The Sabo Center for Democracy and Citizenship facilitates learning experiences across and beyond campus through community engagement, off-campus student employment, and public work to build a better world. We connect students to issues they’re passionate about and help them develop their capacities to be agents of change.

Augsburg’s Environmental Studies program focuses on the study of urban environmental justice. The program draws on the natural sciences, social sciences, humanities, and professional studies to examine the interdependence between humans and the natural world. It provides an understanding of the ecological, social, and cultural processes and problems that bind that world together.
