Advertised Job Summary

Provide technical and professional services to the Gills Creek Watershed Association (GCWA), a non-profit organization whose mission is to restore and protect the Gills Creek Watershed by uniting citizens, businesses, government, and organizations.

Minimum Qualifications

Master’s degree or a bachelor’s degree and 2 years related program experience.

Preferred Qualifications

Master’s degree in environmental management with a focus on freshwater resources. Experience working with a non-profit organization.

PREFERRED: Experience in grant-writing and management, fund-raising, event planning, ArcGIS, Quickbooks, and managing a membership database. Experience with ArcGIS

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

Working knowledge of environmental laws and regulations related to freshwater quality and watershed management. Demonstrated ability to work successfully with a wide range of people toward achieving common goals. Must be able to prepare written reports, and prepare and deliver presentations at content-level appropriate to audience. Must be familiar with computers and office software. Must be able to work with Excel or similar software to develop project and organizational budgets. Must have a valid driver’s license and transportation for attending meetings and similar activities.
