McCormick Taylor, Inc. is currently seeking a highly talented, motivated and experienced Environmental Professional in our Harrisburg, PA office. This position will require a strong understanding of NEPA regulations and requirements and transportation planning expertise. The ideal candidate is an individual with strong work ethic, a desire to learn, and ambition with the ability to work well with a fast-paced team and willingness to take the lead on project assignments.
Desirable Technical Expertise:
Familiarity with the PennDOT project development process and the CE Expert System
Technical studies and analysis, areas of socioeconomics and Section 4(f) preferred
Preparation of environmental reports and documents
Transportation planning
Public involvement and outreach
Development of presentation materials
Qualifications
BS in environmental science, planning or related field is required
4-7 years of progressive experience in the transportation field
Exceptional communication skills, both written and oral (writing sample required)
Excellent organizational skills and ability to multitask
Aptitude to think creatively and bring ideas and innovation to each project in an effort to streamline processes and workflows
