GIS Technician 1 / Cartographer
Position responsible for developing and sustaining Wahkiakum County Geographic Information System and Enhanced 911 mapping program. Generate Assessor parcel maps with supporting database. Continue updating parcel maps as new parcel divisions are generated. Work with the county 911 Coordinator for Public Safety updates to mapping programs and other 911 mapping issues. Create infrastructure map layers; work closely with Assessor and Sheriff’s Office. Maintain County property address database. Includes other duties as assigned by supervisor.
