Dear Colleagues,

I am excited to share the details of the Alliance to Save Energy’s 12th annual EE Global Forum, taking place June 11-12 in Washington, DC.  While I may be a little biased, I’ve always considered EE Global to be one of the premier energy efficiency events, and I am particularly excited for this year’s Forum, which will serve as the formal launch of the EE Global Alliance and will feature energy efficiency leaders from around the world committing to Doubling Down on Energy Efficiency.

As a climate change professional, you are likely aware that the goals of the Paris climate agreement cannot be reached without significantly scaling up energy efficiency. But investments on a global scale are lagging: The IEA estimates that, to meet climate goals, annual EE investment needs to double between now and 2025—and then double again. Unless the international political, financial and philanthropic communities give greater priority to rapidly scaling efficiency policies and investments, the rate of emissions reductions will remain too slow to alter the climate trajectory.

In support of the Doubling Down on Energy Efficiency theme, EE Global 2019 will convene the foremost thought leaders for discussions on facilitating faster, broader implementation of energy efficiency solutions to help mitigate climate change and drive economic growth and innovation. And, the EE Global Alliance – a new coalition of international energy efficiency leaders – will continue the conversations post-event, promoting efficiency’s critical role as a climate solution and advocating for its rapid global deployment.

For more than a decade, EE Global has served as the efficiency elite’s gathering place – the one event that draws together business executives, government leaders, and advocates from across sectors and continents for actionable dialogues on advancing energy efficiency. Our 400+ attendees are decision-makers, with 80 percent self-identifying as Director-level or above, hailing from more than 50 countries.

I encourage you to learn more about how you can claim your place among this roster of efficiency professionals.
