​Mason Conservation District is looking for volunteers to assist with upcoming May field trips at Twanoh State Park & The Skokomish Estuary

 

Volunteer Posistions Open at Twanoh State Park:

Dates: May 6th, 7th & 8th

Time: 8:30 AM – 2:30 PM

 

​Join Mason Conservation District & Pacific Shellfish Institute in leading Kindergarten explorations from forest to beach. We need volunteers to assist on the beach at the touch tank stations. Duties would include ensuring animals are handled with care, crowd management and ensuring all students are engaged and have the opportunity to interact and answering questions students might have. Patience, kindness and passion for nature is ideal !

 

Volunteer Positions Open at The Skokomish Estuary

Dates: May 20th, 21st and 22nd

Time: 8:30 AM – 2:00 PM

 

Join Mason Conservation District and the Skokomish Tribe in leading 2nd Grade through the estuary! We need volunteers to assist as Plant Walk Guides & as Boardwalk Game facilitators. Plant Walk Guides will be given resources ahead of time to prepare them to talk with students about flagged plants on a forest trail. Boardwalk Games facilitators duties are to will lead games and have fun!
