This webinar drawing from legal approaches to water, is co-organised with AIDA (International Association for Water Law). The event focuses on selected papers dealing with law and governance issues, which were presented at the IWRA’s XVI World Water Congress in Cancun, Mexico, in 2017. The panellists will discuss the role of legal frameworks and mechanisms in the integration of science in decision-making processes and evidence-based policies. They will also share their insights on how to make laws flexible and adaptive to scientific knowledge and new environmental, social and economic conditions.
