| An educator workshop will be held on August 7, 2019 to support the goals of ocean literacy and Salish Sea stewardship that encompasses the coastal waters from Seattle’s Puget Sound up to the Strait of Juan de Fuca and the Georgia Strait of British Columbia. This event is being held at Western Washington University in Bellingham, WA where participants will receive hands-on, NGSS-linked Salish Sea-based lesson plans for students based on the best-selling book, Explore the Salish Sea: A Nature Guide for Kids.
