The Opportunity:
The Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) Environmental Services Office (ESO) is seeking an experienced environmental professional to fill the Permitting Liaison Program Manager vacancy. This position can be based in either Olympia or Seattle, WA.
This position manages a statewide Permitting Liaison Program consistent with RCW 47.85.020 that improves and expedites regulatory processes and approvals needed for WSDOT projects and operations. This position will supervise multiple transportation planning specialists that serve as subject matter experts in permitting, as well as serve as a senior environmental permitting strategist and consulting expert to WSDOT’s fish passage barrier correction program.
