The Lincoln County Conservation District is seeking a highly motivated individual to fill a Natural Resource Planner position.  The Lincoln County Conservation District is a dynamic organization comprised of volunteer board members and paid staff members who are leaders in “on the ground conservation”.  We seek individuals that will complement our highly productive, energetic, and skilled staff to deliver quality conservation programs to Lincoln County residents.

The incumbent in this position will work closely with local landowners, coworkers, conservation partners, and others to develop and implement voluntary stewardship conservation plans specific to each landowner’s needs and assist with other conservation grants or programs.

The Lincoln County Conservation District is primarily grant-funded and the incumbent of this position will be required to assist with developing continued funding and program implementation.

Incumbents with a bachelor’s degree or higher with academic training and/or experience in water quality, biology, natural resource management, environmental sciences, wildlife management, agricultural sciences, soils, engineering, or a related discipline are encouraged to apply.

Wages and Benefits

The incumbent will be a salaried employee earning $35,360 – $45,760 per year.  They will also be eligible for District benefits package which includes medical insurance, 10 paid holidays per year,

1 paid personal day, vacation leave, and sick leave.
