Mark your calendar for the third annual Carbon Friendly Forestry Conference.

Date: Tuesday, November 12, 2019
Time: 8:00am-5:00pm*
Location: Cedarbrook Lodge – SeaTac, WA

*Breakfast will be provided for interested attendees from 7:00-8:00am, and a networking reception will be held from 5:00-6:00pm.

Join us in November for a one-day conference about the intersection of forest management and climate change in West Coast working forests. The event will include plenary speakers, panel discussions, and breakout sessions on the roles of climate-smart forests and forest products as natural solutions for mitigating and adapting to the climate crisis.

We aim to bring together government offices and agencies, tribes, academics, conservation organizations, forest owners, businesses, and other interested parties to have constructive conversations, raise important questions, and discuss potential natural climate solutions. Breakfast and lunch will be provided.

Registration is expected to open in mid-September. More details on the event will be available in the coming months.

If you would like to be considered as a presenter or panelist, please email me at sally@wecprotects.org with a short description of your proposed presentation.

I hope to see you there,

Sally Paul
Evergreen Forests Program Associate
