At the NPS Nursery we propagate plants and store salvaged plants for use in future revegetation and green stormwater projects. Register here

The nursery is located off the corner of RW Johnson Blvd. and 21st Ave. and only open during posted event hours. You will find NPS signs guiding you to our Nursery on event day.

To maintain healthy plants, we organize regular work parties, co-sponsored by Thurston County Steam Team, at our nursery throughout the year.

The agenda for each work party varies: we work to propagate native and water-wise plants, re-pot plants that have outgrown their pots into larger ones, transfer bare-root plant-stock and bulbs to pots, weed and organize already potted plants, keep the walkways clean and safe, and additional projects as needed. Occasionally we clean out the tool sheds, sharpen tools, and take inventory.
