10:30 am to 1:30 pm
Billy Frank Jr. Nisqually National Wildlife Refuge
Meet at Visitor Center Pond Overlook
We are winning the battle, join us in the fun. There has been extensive effort to remove Himalayan Blackberry around the Refuge’s Education Center. It has sprouted back and we are going to dig it up. The goal is to plant the area with native plants in the spring.
We will work rain or shine, dress appropriately for the weather. Tools, work gloves, and refreshments will be provided.
Led by biologist Ryan Munes (11/15) and Weed Warriors Nicole Mullane/ Kristin McManus (11/16)
No need to RSVP, just show up ready to dig.
