Submission Instructions

Reflecting the 2020 Congress theme (www.congress2020.ca/about) “Confronting Colonialism and Anti-Black Racism”, ESAC invites submissions from a diverse range of issues and themes, including (but not limited to):

All proposals must be submitted through the Abstract Submission Console (https://forms.gle/yxQnRo5w44f7Q5rYA), by January 19, 2020 (acceptance e-mails will be sent out by mid-February 2020).
The organizing committee is accepting two proposal formats:
• In-person participants are asked to submit abstracts for individual paper presentations (of 15 minutes each);
• Digital participants are asked to submit abstracts for research highlights dialogues (of 15 minutes each). Instead of presenting their work through a formal presentation with background slides, digital participants are expected to provide 4-6 questions in advance of the conference, to guide a live conversation about the research project (No slides will be available to digital participants).
Graduate students are encouraged to make submissions as regular participants.

Through the online Abstract Submission Console (https://forms.gle/yxQnRo5w44f7Q5rYA), applicants will be asked to provide a proposed title, key words, and an abstract (maximum 200 words).
