Vulcan Events is the team that supports all experiences ranging from movie nights for employees to major international conferences for our philanthropic groups – and everything in between! The Vulcan Events team is tasked with creating unique experiences that bring our mission to life – supporting individual departments internally and externally, and enhancing employee morale through unique and inspiring engagement opportunities.

Working alongside our team, you’ll provide logistical and organizational support to internal departments and execute companywide employee events throughout the summer. You’ll also be responsible for researching venues, vendors and trends to build an online resource for Vulcan employees to access for future events and team building activities.  We’re looking for an outgoing intern who is interested in building relationships to execute projects with a high attention to detail.

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Undergrad student currently pursuing a degree in Communications, Hospitality or Marketing from an accredited institution
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills; ability to develop and maintain relationships with business partners at all levels
  • Strong organizational, time management, customer service and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple requests with excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to work occasional after work and weekend hours
