Aquatic Invasive Species Inspector (NRW1)
Non-Permanent Positions (6 month) / Full-Time

Applications will be reviewed and interviews held as qualified applicants are identified, this position may be filled and the recruitment closed.  Therefore, you are encouraged to submit your application materials as soon as possible.  The first review of applicants will begin on 3/16/2020.

In this position you will be protecting state waters by inspecting and decontaminating trailered watercraft for Aquatic Invasive Species (AIS).

Key duties include:

• Conduct standardized interviews to fill out watercraft inspection form documenting inspection.

• Determine if the watercraft meets clean and drained (dry) requirements.

• Identifies AIS on watercraft.

• Basic watercraft decontamination of watercraft out of compliance with Clean and Drained regulations

• Maintains inspection/decontamination station facilities

QualificationsGraduation from high school or GED, including one year of high school science.

Valid driver’s license.
