Umpqua Restoration Program Coordinator

National conservation organization seeks a regular, full-time Umpqua Restoration Program Coordinator. Position is responsible for conducting community engagement, fundraising and project management for restoration activities in the North Umpqua River watershed on the Umpqua National Forest, and will work in close coordination with the U.S. Forest Service, community organizations, and implementation partners to accomplish identified goals and activities throughout the watershed. Duties include:

Community engagement -creating a strategic implementation plan, conducting ongoing communication with partners, networking with organizations;

Project management – preparing project implementation plans, overseeing contractors, managing services agreements, invoices, and finances; and

Fundraising – soliciting funds, preparing grant and funding reports, communication  … more.

Must possess a Bachelor’s degree in natural resources, conservation or related field; a minimum of 3 years’ work experience with proven results; strong knowledge and experience of the U.S. Forest Service land management policies, procedures, and regulations, excellent communication skills and analytical skills with strong attention to detail; able to work independently while being flexible in a team environment; have a valid U.S. driver’s license … more.
