We in Sharing Science (agu.org/sharingscience) at the American Geophysical Union have started two new series on our blog, The Plainspoken Scientists), encouraging scientists to submit their science music (AGU Rocks) or drawing pieces (Drawn to Geoscience) to be showcased on the blog while also talking about the process of creating them. We want to not only hear nerdy science music and see awesome science drawings, we want to hear about the what, how, and why that went into creating their science art. We recognize that science communication comes in many forms and we want to show it off.

This isn’t just an opportunity for AGU members. We want contributions from across the sciences. No matter your background (or your relationship to science), consider submitting.
