The deadline for student scholarships from the local chapter of the Solid Waste Association of North America (SWANA) is June 1. To be eligible, students must enroll in college or grad school for next year, be children or grandchildren of SWANA members, or be SWANA members. The good news is that becoming a student member is free and easy. On the application form (which is two pages and does not require an essay), student members just need to list themselves as their sponsors. Applicants do not need to be pursuing studies in solid waste or materials management, although a focus on environmental work will make students more competitive. Please share this scholarship opportunity with students you think might be interested.

Greetings!
The SWANA Evergreen Chapter is pleased to offer college-bound members, their children and their grandchildren the following opportunities for scholarships in 2020.
