Job Title : CaPA Administrative Assistant

Compensation: DOE but we expect a range of $20-$27 per hour

Hours: 5-10 per week, variable, with potential to increase.

Location: Remote, flexible, preference for candidates within Washington State

Duration: June-September, with a possible extension into November.

About CaPA:

Clean & Prosperous America (CaPA) is a new startup political organization led by Sonicare & Clarisonic founder David Giuliani. CaPA’s mission is to pass strong federal climate action in 2021. We believe that only a new generation of voters, leaders, and advocates can change our course away from climate disaster and toward a healthy planet and a prosperous future. To increase capacity for federal climate action, CAPA is working across the country to increase youth voter turnout and political support for acting on climate change. While we are based in Washington State, we have a network of partners across the nation.

About the Administrative Position:

CaPA is seeking a well-organized, punctual administrative coordinator primarily to organize a wide variety of meetings amongst various internal and external stake-holders throughout the election cycle. The scheduler should have the ability to regularly check for emails (3-5x/day – 6 days a week) and act quickly upon scheduling requirements as needed.

In most instances after receiving a request the scheduler would 1) Find a variety of options that work for all the internal parties based on shared calendars. 2) Suggest that variety of options to any external parties and handle all email coordination 3) Finalize a date/time 4) Set up a zoom conference call for the event 5) Email the event and zoom link to all parties 6)  Setup a calendar event and invite all parties to the calendar event.

The scheduler would work directly to manage scheduling requests from CaPA’s  – General Campaign Manager, Marketing Director, Youth Campaign Manager, and Youth Grant Manager. These managers are currently coordinating meetings with Candidate Campaigns, Youth Climate Groups, Independent Expenditure groups, NGO’s, and others.

This role does not require a large number of hours per week as creating a zoom meeting and calendar event can be completed in a few minutes with maybe 10-15 meetings coordinated per week. But the role does require fairly regular attention to email and ability to act quickly when an email request does come in. In most cases it will require coordinating with potentially high-profile external groups. These coordinating emails should be led by the scheduler and must be done using appropriate professionalism.

Other administrative tasks may include document formatting, emails, participating in meetings, maintaining a calendar for the organization, taking notes and other projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

At Least two years of college education, degree in progress okay.

Strong academic record preferred.

Must have experience in an office setting with administrative tasks or scheduling.

Must be extremely well organized.

Must be interested in CAPA’s mission.
