December’s Salish Magazine will be about cycles in nature.

We are inviting a broad spectrum of articles that illustrate these cycles. The point isn’t to say that cycles are “the” way of looking at the environment, but they are a good first step in inviting people to close the loops and see an ecosystem perspective bigger than just “slugs are bad because they eat plants in my garden.”

If this interests you, we would like a short (one paragraph) synopsis/proposal by the first of September.  Take a look at the attached file which goes into more detail about the theme, deliverables, due dates, etc.
