What...

Educator 2 Educator is a one-day conference that provides formal (teachers, superintendents, etc.) and informal (community based) educator teams to work effectively together to enhance student subject area learning and life and job preparation.  This is a great opportunity for classroom teachers, informal educators, environmental organizations with education programs, and high school and college students with an interest in a career in environmental education to:

  •  Learn about trends and research in integrating environment and sustainability education (ESE) with Common Core and Next Generation Science Standards.
  • Learn from powerful practices of school and environment & sustainability organization partnerships.
  • Contribute to the development of local and regional environment and sustainability education professional learning communities.
  • Learn about developing outdoor field experiences and project-based learning that match student learning requirements.
  • Exchange ideas and experiences to help you develop new perspectives and approaches.

Normally, we ask for presentations, but in this redesign phase, we are rolling out specific training modules with an interactive approach. We hope to get your feedback as we continue to refine these events.
