Saturday Shellfish Experience
For those craving to get out into the beauty of Henderson Inlet coming up on
November 14th,10:00am-1:00pm, is our monthly Saturday Shellfish Experience. This event is where anyone can come out to the community farm for an oyster farming experience on the shores of Puget Sound. Next weekends event will include an oyster harvest and sorting, learning about water quality work, and BBQ oysters to end the day. Hope to see you there.
Other Volunteer Opportunities
We have many other volunteer opportunities for students and community members outside of the Saturday Shellfish Experiences. Some of which include night tide oyster harvest, final cull/sort for orders, educational internships, water quality outreach, and intertidal oyster husbandry. These opportunities are available on a weekly basis if interested shoot me an email or phone call.
Farmstand Now Open Thursdays @ George and Sons Fruit Market
For those who want to enjoy the bounty from the farm who can’t wait for the next event, our Farmstand is now open on Thursday afternoons from 2:00-6:00pm (Closed this thursday 11/5 due to rainfall). Call today to custom order your Pacific Oysters starting at $8.00/dozen smalls and $9.00/dozen mediums for pickup any Thursday.
