ENERCON is currently seeking a Due Diligence Specialist to join the team in Dallas, TX. In this role, you will have the opportunity to focus on environmental due diligence services, including evaluating, planning, organizing, and performing environmental consulting services.

 

Other responsibilities include:

• Senior review / peer review of various due diligence assessments prepared by third-party environmental consulting firms.

• Conduct Phase I environmental site assessments

• Conduct other types of site assessments and write technical reports

 

Required skills:

As a qualified candidate, you will have the above experience and meet the below requirements:

•Bachelor’s degree (minimum) in Environmental Science, Geology, Engineering or related field:

•0 to 2 years experience preferred performing environmental risk evaluations of due diligence assessment for a variety of property types and the requirements of ASTM and EPA’s All Appropriate Inquiry for banks, fiduciaries, or similar industry.

•Candidates with work experience in one or more of the following areas will receive additional consideration: Phase II ESA, Soil / Groundwater Investigations, Remediation, Compliance, Project Management, Mold Surveys, PCA’s and Asbestos Surveys, and Erosion Control Device Installation Oversight

•Excellent technical writing and verbal communication skills

•Knowledge of local, state, tribal, and federal regulations across the country.

•Skill set including data interpretation, identification and evaluation of environmental risks and liabilities, and development of risk mitigation strategies.

•Problem solving and general scientific evaluation skills

•Broad knowledge of environmental principles, theories, standards, concepts, and techniques.

•Ability to pass a pre-employment and random drug and alcohol screenings, ENERCON and client specific background checks, and annual motor vehicle record (MVR) according to company and client policies

•This position requires a clear Motor Vehicle Report / driving history.

• Ability to travel between 15-25% of the time; duration of travel may vary depending on project and client needs; ranging from a few days to a few weeks. Position may occasionally involve a client site assignment lasting several months at a time.
