J&J Solutions Foundation, in collaboration with Squaxin Tribe, Chehalis Tribe, the Evergreen State College’s Center for Community Based Learning and Action, Gateways for Incarcerated Youth and AmeriCorps’ Retention Project and Youth in Service is hosting:

BLACK LAKE NATIVE LAND RESTORATION

Come join us on this monumental Day of Service to restore this Native Land. Work done on this Make a Difference Day will eventually be the grounds for:

* Cultural Canoe Diversion Program for Youth at risk of becoming involved in the criminal justice system.
* Boat Launch for the Squaxin and Chehalis Tribe to host the Inter-tribal Canoe Journey for Coast Salish Tribes serving hundreds of families and tribal members.
* Restoring Black Lake as spawning grounds for local, wild Salmon.
