The Oregon Museum of Science and Industry is seeking a full time Federal Grants Coordinator. This position is responsible for leading cross functional teams by defining strategy and providing project management support for large-scale grant proposal development. This position also manages federal grant submissions, review of procedural compliance, and reporting on active awards, in addition to being the lead liaison between OMSI and federal funding agencies, including National Science Foundation, NASA, NOAA, and others.

Candidate must … have a Bachelor’s Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience, minimum 4 years experience with grant proposal development, submissions, and/or administration and management with some experience specifically focused on federal grants, minimum 3 year of coordination and project management skills, minimum 1 year of experience working with the public, formal and informal settings, a valid driver’s license, and pass pre-employment and/or pre-duty checks, such as criminal background check, reference checks, and requirements in the MVR Policy including passing Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check. Bilingual in Spanish/English, experience working with volunteers, and competency with databases and MS Windows is preferred.

Pay Rate: $41,263 – $52,610 per year.
