Ethics and Global Politics: An Active Learning Sourcebook. This contains two essays by me. The first is one of the two introductory essays — ETHICS FROM A GLOBAL PERSPECTIVE — intended to give students glimpse of the varieties of bases for traditional ethics. This essay was co-authored with the late Dr. Lucinda Peach. The second essay — THE DRAMA OF INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS — offers teachers and students advice about using “rough theater” stage readings of plays as a device for exploring diplomacy and international conflict with an insider’s perspective. |

Doug Schuler edited the book Liberating Voices, which takes up Christopher Alexander’s vision of practice understood in terms of “patterns.” This led to a fascinating book about the practices of community change. One of my contributions to the book was a pattern entitled “Peace Education.” |
