I have contributed essays and chapters to several books and presented papers at a number of conferences. Here you will find links to books about teaching including peace education:

ethics image Ethics and Global Politics: An Active Learning Sourcebook.
This contains two essays by me. The first is one of the two introductory essays — ETHICS FROM A GLOBAL PERSPECTIVE — intended to give students glimpse of the varieties of bases for traditional ethics. This essay was co-authored with the late Dr. Lucinda Peach.
The second essay — THE DRAMA OF INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS — offers teachers and students advice about using “rough theater” stage readings of plays as a device for exploring diplomacy and international conflict with an insider’s perspective.
art of college teaching To the book The Art of College Teaching: Twenty Eight Takes (ed. April Morgan) I contributed an essay entitled “A Feminist Teaches War and Makes Peace.”
liberating voices Doug Schuler edited the book Liberating Voices, which takes up Christopher Alexander’s vision of practice understood in terms of “patterns.” This led to a fascinating book about the practices of community change. One of my contributions to the book was a pattern entitled “Peace Education.”
