I would really appreciate your help in getting the word out about the fellowship to recent graduates of the Masters of Public Administration Program. (Students who are available for full-time work in on and after July 1, 2014, and expect to graduate before January 1, 2015, also may apply.)
The candidate selected for the fellowship will serve as a Fiscal Analyst with the House Appropriations Committee. This is a nonpartisan staff position. This is a full-time, temporary position lasting until June 30, 2015.
The OPR provides nonpartisan staff support to House members and committees. Duties of fiscal analysts include developing and evaluating options to assist House members in meeting their goals, fiscal and policy analysis, review and analysis of agency budget requests and Governor’s budget proposals, research, bill drafting, and presentation of oral and written staff reports. The application deadline is May 10, 2014.
