Eric S. Trevan is a new Member of the Faculty at Evergreen State College and will begin teaching in the fall. He is finishing his PhD at Arizona State University this summer with a focus on Local and Tribal Economies, has a Masters Degree in Administration, Public Administration from Central Michigan University and a Bachelors Degree in Public Administration/Economics from Western Michigan University. Originally from Michigan, he is a Tribal Citizen of the Match-E-Be-Nash-She-Wish Band of Pottawatomi Indians and still serves as Chairman of their economic development corporation, Gun Lake Investments. He has served in other leadership positions in local and Tribal government, economic development and is the immediate past president of the National Center for American Indian Enterprise Development. He continues to provide research and advise other government agencies and trade associations on public policy and economic issues.
