In the Chamorro household, chances are that you will find a devotional corner. This is due to the culture being heavily influenced by Spanish Catholicism since the 18th century.

Here in my great-grandmother’s house, The Last Supper was once hanging over the dinning room and the saints featured is and has always been in her room.
