The Kitchen Garden Project (KGP) Coordinator works collaboratively with other staff to champion GRuB’s mission, values and financial sustainability. The KGP Coordinator specifically manages GRuB’s Kitchen Garden Project and neighborhood-based food work in collaboration with a team of volunteers, interns, and Americorps members. The KGP Coordinator builds and stewards GRuB partnerships with agencies, nonprofits, and lower-income communities and individuals in urban and rural areas of Thurston and Mason Counties. We are seeking someone who can balance big picture planning/management with hands-on delivery working alongside volunteers, gardeners, and youth. The KGP Coordinator will champion GRuB’s 2012-2017 Strategic Plan by deepening our community partnerships and setting GRuB up to serve as a resource, trainer, and facilitator that helps people organize Good Food Projects in their own neighborhoods.
