The position of Agricultural Community of Interest (COI) Coordinator exists to coordinate and provide staff support to the Puyallup Watershed Agriculture COI and the Pierce County Agricultural Roundtable (PCAR) and their work groups, and to lead and assist in implementation of the COI’s first-year work plan and preparation of the second-year work plan. Specifically through coordinating staff meetings and leading outreach efforts of the Agriculture COI, serving as key point-of-contact for advancing initiatives of the COI, professional staff in the Agriculture support landscape, other COIs, and supporters/funders of the COI, and assist in grant writing and fundraising for COI initiatives and local agricultural community as needed. The person in this position must have a bachelor’s degree with academic training and/or experience in facilitation, project management, agriculture, natural resource protection, business or related fields. Significant job experience may be accepted in lieu of degree. At least one year of experience in similar working environment.
