Justice Cafés come to Tacoma

Justice Cafe’s are part of a growing international movement of young adults acting together for justice! Every month we come together to discuss an issue that affects our lives today. The discussion doesn’t stop at the end of the night, though. When the evening is over, global solidarity and dialogue builds as the conversation continues on the Justice Cafe Facebook page. Participants can hear how local context affects the topic for people in New York City, Kenya, and other places around the country and world.

This Month – Climate Change: Our Future with Earth

Do you love being outdoors: hiking, picnicking, kayaking, or sailing? Have you been stunned by the crazy weather patterns happening all over the US and around the world? Does climate change mystify, confuse, or infuriate you?  Do you think we need to be better stewards of God’s creation?

All young adults are invited to come to this month’s Café on climate change to discuss our connections to the earth and what we, as young adults, can do to make a difference in environmental justice!

Together we will plan and decide an action for eco-justice on climate change – acting because the time is now and we are the people. Justice Cafés around the world will be planning an action for April to create a worldwide wave for eco-justice!
