Saturday, May 20

10 a.m. – 3 p.m.

Have fun, spread mulch, and help a restoration planting thrive!

Stream Team & Native Plant Salvage/WSU Extension Water Resources invite community volunteers to join us at two beautiful Capitol Land Trust properties, to follow up on the restoration plantings volunteers worked on this past winter.

Volunteers will mindfully spread mulch around all of the young native plants, to help keep the invasive species at bay, retain soil moisture, and give the young native plants more time to become established.

LUNCH, ICE CREAM, AND REFRESHMENTS will keep volunteers well fueled throughout this important work!  NPS will supply gloves and tools. No prior experience is necessary.

Event Date/Time: Sat, May 20, 2017 – 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM
