SCIENTIFIC TECHNICIAN 2 POOL – FISH PROGRAM
The Department of Fish and Wildlife, Fish Program is recruiting to fill a variety of non-permanent Scientific Technician 2 positions throughout the state. This posting will be used to establish a pool of candidates for consideration in the hiring of non-permanent positions as they become available statewide. Candidates included into this pool will remain active and available for consideration for up to 180 days from the date of application.
The positions filled using this pool will be from one to eleven months in duration. Some positions may be shortened or extended due to workload needs. Positions include full-time, part-time, and on-call schedules. |

Qualifications: |
Graduation from high school or GED, including one year of high school science and two years of experience as a Scientific Technician.
OR
Graduation from high school or GED including one year of high school science and two years of laboratory or field experience as an assistant to a biologist, chemist, or zoologist.
College course work involving major study in biology, zoology, fisheries, chemistry, natural sciences, or closely allied field will substitute, year for year, for experience, provided the course work includes at least six semester or nine quarter hours of natural science classes.
Valid Washington State, or other state, driver’s license may be required. |
