We are looking for a qualified candidate to begin training in the last week of June and start in the first part of July 2017. Salary DOE.
Responsibilities:
- Assist manager with weekly sales tracking, analyzing inventory and sales reports
- Assist customers by processing adjustments to existing orders and entering new orders
- Answer incoming calls, respond to customer questions concerning purchase orders and resolving customer service issues
- Input list of items, numbers, or other data into customer profile and Excel spreadsheets
- Manage shipping logistics
- Enthusiastically offer creative ideas for company and customer projects
- Participate in customer visits to build positive customer relations Minimum Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree in horticulture, or equivalent education and or work experience in horticulture / nursery industry / landscape architecture / landscape design
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with a variety of individuals
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Must be able and willing to work 40+ hours a week Desired Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in horticulture, or equivalent education and / or work experience in nursery industry / landscape architecture / landscape design
- Solid knowledge of common ornamental and native plants in the landscape
- Experience in account management, project management
- Experience working in a team setting, delegating tasks
Required skills/experience:
- Excel: 2 years
- Detail oriented, good organizational & time management skills
- Able to keep track of communication from variety of sources
- Able to work under pressure in a fast paced environment.
