Clean & Affordable Energy Conference with the NW Energy Coalition in Seattle WA, November 2nd, 2017

The Conference is November 2nd from 8am to 5pm with the Gala beginning at 6:30pm that evening. (For current MES students, it is acceptable to leave earlier than the 5pm end time to make it to class in Olympia at 6pm).

There are a couple volunteer opportunities open for free admission to the conference and you can email Kat at kat@nwenergy.org with your first and last name and a small blurb about your interest in volunteering for this event. Volunteers will be needed just for registration and check-in the morning of the event and volunteers should arrive no sooner than 7am at the Hilton Seattle.

The cost of attendance for non-members and non-volunteers is $199.00 but there is also an opportunity to receive a 50% off scholarship. Join the NW Energy Coalition for our Fall 2017 NW Clean & Affordable Energy Conference, the region’s premier clean energy conference! Today’s most important energy topics will be addressed, including just transition to a clean and affordable energy future, the role of natural gas in the Northwest, and aligning utility earnings for clean energy investments.

The NW Energy Coalition is an alliance of around 100 environmental, civic and human service organizations, progressive utilities, and businesses in Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana and British Columbia. We promote development of renewable energy and energy efficiency, consumer protection, low-income energy assistance, and fish and wildlife restoration on the Columbia and Snake rivers.
