1. Habitat Store: The Store sells building matierals at a fraction of retail prices, making home improvements, renovations, or building upkeep more affordable. Proceeds from the store help fund the construction of SPS Habitat homes. Habitat Stores need volunteers to help manage the store, assist customers and keep merchandise in order and stocked.

Construction site: SPS Habitat homes are built with 80% volunteer labor. We depend on individuals like you who are willing to come out and help on site to build homes. No construction experience is necessary. We provide all the tools and training necessary on site.

Lunch providers: THe construction volunteers are very appreciative when an individual or service group prepares a lunch for them during their workday! Our volunteer coordinator will let you know the number of lunches to prepare.

Translation services: On-call volunteers who are fluent in Spanish are needed to translate documents and to interpret during meetings and events.

Data Entry Specialists: Help in our Downtown Olympia office with data entry, filing, mailings, and other general office duties. Hours are flexible, but a weekly commitment is requested.

Event support: We host and attend various community outreach and support programs throughout the year. We always appreciate an extra hand with set-up, registration, and event wrap-up.

Interest in helping the community. Training provided in the different volunteer areas.
