This is a brief description of their work: “The Other Bank offers assistance to over 14,000 individuals every year. One-third of our clients are younger than 13 and half of these children are under the age of 5. Our clients are also elderly, disabled, homeless, unemployed, or are just struggling the make ends meet and would have to go without these items if we did not have them available. Our supply of personal hygiene and household cleaning products are donated almost entirely by churches, schools, government agencies, businesses, service clubs, and individuals. Product donations come from large ongoing product drives or simply a one-day collection; our inventory depends on the generosity of each and every donation no matter how small or large.”-YWCA Other Bank
