Volunteer sweeps help check participants in, keep the group together, support the walk lead, and act as a Land Trust ambassador by providing a brief Land Trust welcome.
Responsibilities & Commitment:
- set directional signs
- greet & sign in participants
- “sweep” /remain at the back of the group and ensure everyone completes the walk
- dedicate 2-3 hours of your time per walk
Provided by the Land Trust:
- information/orientation about the conservation property
- first aid kit
- property maps
- roster
Nature Walks take place on land protected as wildlife habitat. We ask that you please leave your dog at home. Thank you!
