Nothing worth doing is easy. My daughter just set off on a week-long camping and rock-climbing adventure with a group of girls through the YMCA. I have to admit that I am a little envious. She has a mountain to climb and an experienced guide to get her there.

Writing a grant proposal is a journey. There are common pitfalls along the way. There are turns that are easy to miss. And you must get to the top of the mountain and take in the whole view before your journey is over.

Let me be your guide. Spark the Fire Grantwriting Classes provides the map, the tools, and most importantly, an experienced guide to lead you on your journey of grantwriting. I’ll be there every step of the way to answer your questions as they come up. I will help you think through your goals, objectives, and evaluation plan, and be there to read your first drafts to make sure you’re on the right track. Start your journey this September.

Step One: Essential Grantwriting on Tuesday, Sept. 11th from 9am to 3pm. Learn all the basics of prospect research, how to write your proposal step-by-step, and how and when to communicate with grantmakers. This class is perfect for beginners and intermediate-level grant writers. $95 early bird before August 28th or $115 after that.

Step Two: Proposal Writing on Wednesday, Sept. 12th from 9am to 3pm. Challenge yourself to write a grant proposal. Review evaluation tools used by grantmakers and critique sample proposals. This class is optional for those who have completed Essential Grantwriting (Step One). $95 early bird before August 28th or $115 after that.

Save $10 when you register for Essential Grantwriting (Step One) and Proposal Writing (Step Two) together. $180 early bird before August 28th or $220 after that.

Step Three: Individualized Assessment (online at your own pace). Submit your completed proposal for review and individualized feedback. We’ll work one-on-one on your proposal to take it from good to great. Those who complete this final step will receive a Certificate in Grantwriting. Registration fee for Individualized Assessment (Step Three) is $225.

The registration fee for all three steps is $405 early bird before August 28th or $445 after that.
