Each year TCD cooperatively plans and hosts a regional competition for high school students to test them on their knowledge in natural resources and conservation practices called Envirothon. Our region includes students from Lewis, Mason, Thurston, Kitsap, Pierce, and Grays Harbor Counties and is held at the beautiful Billy Frank Jr. Nisqually National Wildlife Refuge. Regional winning teams go on to compete at the State and National levels.

This years regional competition is being primarily organized by staff at Pierce Conservation District. Please contact Robyn LaVergne to get more information and to sign up as a volunteer. If you are a high school teacher and are interested in bringing a 5 person team, please also contact Robyn!
