The Assessor’s Office of Thurston County is seeking highly motivated applicants for the GIS Analyst III position. This position will work between a few local government departments, and will require a general understanding of local government functions. GIS Analyst III’s work independently with only occasional progress checks. Incumbents work as professional, technical experts providing leadership, guidance, support and direction on projects ranging from single applications to multiple department and deployments countywide. In addition, the incumbent plans, organizes and manages the technical installation, maintenance, enhancement and operation of computer software or system hardware for GIS business systems, potentially of a large or complex nature.
