Dear Colleagues,

I’m pleased to share the call for papers for the new collection “Histories across Species” for the open access, peer-reviewed publication of the Rachael Carson Center for Environment & Society in Munich. http://www.environmentandsociety.org/arcadia/collection/16979

The collection aims to bridge disciplines and questions concerning human-animal relations in global processes of socio-ecological change.

The publication features short articles (650 to 850 words) digitally published in the Environment & Society Portal. Although with a general focus on global environmental history, the articles are generally written by scholars in multiple disciplines and for a general audience.

The journal receives contributions regularly, but we are now inviting submissions for our summer 2019 volume (deadline April 15th). Papers addressing issues regarding North Africa, the Arabian Peninsula, Central Asia, and South America are particularly welcomed in this volume.

I’m attaching here the call for papers with a detailed description of this new collection.

Please share with your colleagues and students,

All the best,

William
