We invite you to join a live webcast streamed from the National Press Club in Washington, D.C. on Tuesday, May 7th, 11 a.m.–12 p.m. MT / 1 p.m.–2 p.m. ET to hear about exciting new ways that US cities are stepping up to mitigate climate change, improve their communities, and collectively put the country on track to meet Paris targets.

We’ll be joined by Carla Frisch from RMI’s America’s Pledge Team, which focuses on analyzing, catalyzing, and showcasing how climate action led by states, cities, and businesses is driving the United States toward a low-carbon future, and will share the team’s latest research on what measures can give states the most bang for their buck. We’ll also be joined by Rushad Nanavatty from the newly launched American Cities Climate Challenge, focused on helping US cities advance ambitious renewable energy goals with a similar model to RMI’s successful Business Renewables Center.

And, we are pleased to announce that this discussion will be moderated by RMI Trustee, Dennis McGinn, who served as Assistant Secretary of the Navy for Energy, Installations, and Environment until January 2017.
